Model trained on Indic languages; company raises $80M Series B.
A Bengaluru-based AI startup on Monday unveiled what it claims is India's first fully open-source large language model trained natively on Indic languages. The company simultaneously announced an $80 million Series B round led by a global fund.
The model supports 12 Indian languages and is available under a permissive license. "Our goal is to democratise AI for the Indian developer ecosystem," said the founder.
